Asset Management
Every investor is an individual with different needs and objectives. Whatever the objective - wealth preservation, asset growth, minimizing taxes or generating current income- a professional asset management program strives to increase the chances of meeting those objectives.
Developing an asset management strategy begins with a personalized investment analysis of a client's existing holdings. Through consultation and a risk tolerance questionnaire, USFA develops a personal profile of the client's investment needs and goals, time horizon and ability and willingness to take risk. Based on the findings, we set an asset allocation policy to target the desired rates of return relative to the client's risk tolerance.
The next step is to identify the specific asset classes and investments. U.S. Financial Advisors, through its Truro Asset Management Program, will design portfolios using a combination of exchange traded and index funds, mutual funds and individual stocks and bonds. In most cases, USFA will recommend a portfolio of exchange traded funds and mutual funds for accounts under $1 million. For accounts greater than $1 million or those wishing exposure to individual stocks and bonds, USFA will recommend the use of one of the 100+ separate account managers available through the Truro Asset Management Program.
All asset management clients of USFA will receive monthly statements, quarterly performance reports, quarterly client investment letters and online access to their accounts.
